Summer sale in the heat of summer

I was in Tokyo for the past week and the scorching summer sun was a real killer but nothing perks me up like a good sale. Truth be told, it is impossible to afford a wardrobe full of Lanvin, LIMI Feu, Paul Smith, Commes des garcons, etc, if not for the seasonal sales.

Sale can be found all over Japan during the end of July and early August period and are indeed for people who know what true value is. I was bowled over by the immense number of great buys in the malls and boutiques. Even second-hand and vintage shops carry items on sale. Some of you may be swearing at me now, especially if you are not in Japan at the moment but my friends, we live in the age of the World Wide Web where we can shop online!

Above is an image from Kind, a second-hand boutique with a string of outlets across Japan. They stock brands like Martin Margiela, Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester, Tsumori Chisato, Helmut Lang and many more at GREAT affordable prices! Click here for their online shop.
