A walk down memory lane

Trust Jeremy Scott to send his models down the runway in miniskirts for a Fall collection. Scott believes that everyone “should have fun with fashion” and his style reflects just that attitude.

Using icons and trademarks of popular culture, his critique on consumerism and other social cultural issues sets him apart from his peers. His collection speaks for his ‘designer statement’ and that makes him a fashion artisan- no matter what his collection looks like.

Inspired by the nineties, this collection drew its reference from Gregg Araki’s Nowhere and even TV sitcom Clueless. The collection, though borderline tacky, certainly brings back memories. Personally, there are things I buy because they are aesthetically pleasing and there are things I buy for sentimental reasons or just silly reminiscence. This collection definitely belongs to the latter.

I like the candy colours and the very 90s look with the collar.

I like the dress, it has a very nice cut but the shoes are just crazy!

A twisted take on the Superman costume!
