After reading Sybil’s last entry about Yohji Yamamoto’s costume design for the film by Kitano, I was intrigued to find out how other designers’ projects for films or productions might have worked. After all, the Rodarte sisters designed the costumes for the film Black Swan. I found Sonia Biaachi, costume designer, chereographer and also founder of Theatre centre for Reasearch in Vernice.

The lines are fluid and clean and all the costumes are meant for movement.
Very modern and simplistic. I guess that’s what you have to focus on sometimes so as not to take away the beauty of the movements, but to enhance the whole visual experience.
